Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms cover your use of LoopCoach at loopcoach.dev and the LoopCoach for LeetCode browser extension (the “Service”). LoopCoach is run by an independent developer in New York, USA (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Who can use LoopCoach

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you use LoopCoach for an organization, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.

Your account

You sign in with Google or GitHub. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to that sign-in account secure. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.

Acceptable use

Use LoopCoach to practice and learn. Don’t:

  • Use the code runner for anything other than solving the problems: no mining, network attacks, attempts to escape the sandbox, or deliberately exhausting resources.
  • Probe, scan or attack the Service, get around rate limits or usage allowances, or access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
  • Scrape or bulk-download questions, editorials or other content, or use them to build a competing product or dataset.
  • Post content that’s illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, spam, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Use LoopCoach to get help during a live interview or assessment where that isn’t allowed. LoopCoach is for preparing, not for cheating.

Your content

You own the code, notes, reflections and posts you create (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, run, process and display your content only as needed to operate and improve the Service: for example, to run your code, generate feedback, and show your posts to other users. Content you post publicly, such as discussion posts and share links, can be seen by others. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and we may remove content that breaks these terms.

Our content

The Service, including its questions, tests, hints, editorials, recommendations, design and the Spot character, belongs to LoopCoach or its licensors. You may use it for your own personal practice. Some explanations adapt openly licensed material and are attributed on our licenses page.

LoopCoach isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by LeetCode or any company named in the Service. Company names are used only to describe interview content, and company signals are estimates, not official information.

AI feedback

Some features use AI models to classify approaches, grade solutions and give hints. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Treat it as a study aid, not as a guarantee that your solution is correct or that you’re ready for an interview.

Free use, limits and paid plans

LoopCoach is free to use today. Code execution and AI features have fair-use allowances that we may adjust to keep the Service running. If we introduce paid plans, the price, billing period and renewal terms will be shown clearly before you buy, and any additional terms will be presented then. We won’t charge you without your explicit consent.

The LeetCode extension

The extension works on pages you open on leetcode.com. You’re responsible for following LeetCode’s own terms when you use it. LeetCode may change its site at any time, which can break the extension until we update it.

Changes and availability

We’re continually improving LoopCoach and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep the Service available but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these terms; we’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

Ending your use

You can stop using LoopCoach at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee any interview outcome or job offer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoopCoach and its operator won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law while using the Service and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
